Why Chichester Shutters?

Based in Chichester, West Sussex, we’re one of the UK’s leading window shutter experts and have been since 1999.

We’ve been supplying high-quality window shutters for over 25 years now (originally under the name Opennshut)… but you’d be forgiven for thinking we’d been around even longer than that.

It’s safe to say that when it comes to shutters, few people have the knowledge and expertise we have.

But this doesn’t mean that we’re a faceless business.

We are a small family team with two generations involved in the business.

Sam started the business with his Dad back in 1999. Nowadays, he mostly provides training for other shutter companies across the country and is on-hand as our shutter-guru when needed!

When you pick up the phone, it’ll most likely be Becky or Debbie you’ll speak to. They are here to make sure your journey is as smooth as possible; from estimate to home survey. If you place an order with us, Emma & Tia will look after you from payment through to fitting. Also Sam’s Cousin, Gary, looks after our warehouse & logistics.

You’ll meet Dale or Colin at the survey when they’ll share their expert advice with you and measure your windows for order. And it will be either Miles, Chris or Harry (Sam’s son) who come out to fit your shutters.

Finally, Sam’s Daughter, Danni, heads up the team and keeps all the plates spinning and Sam’s partner, Claire, is head of HR and makes sure we’re all kept in line (perhaps the most important job of all!).
