The service from Chichester Shutters has been fantastic, and we are delighted with the shutters, they have transformed the house. The installation was extremely professional, the team were very careful as they assembled the frames, and they worked very respectfully around us to keep a safe distance. After the shutters were installed, they cleaned up perfectly, and left clear instructions and a set of spares should we ever need them. The shutters themselves are fantastic, they feel solid to operate but not overly heavy. The installation approach means that they can be popped out easily when we need to clean the windows, there was no drilling at all, so the installation does not affect the window frame. There is a noticeable reduction in noise and improvement in keeping the rooms warm, and they look fantastic. Overall, 10/10.

We’ve just had two 9 feet wide x 5 feet high bay window shutters fitted by Luke and Mike. What a lovely job! Both myself and my wife are perfectionists and the installation and appearance are faultless.
We found Chichester Shutters from the internet via their other company Opennshut. I watched all their You Tube videos and when Sam, who ‘stars’ in the videos came to measure up, I was impressed. He took a full two hours on the survey, complete with laser levels. He also took us through the various options on finish, slat size etc. The price quoted, considering it’s for a bespoke product, was reasonable.
The fitters turned up on time, even though we live probably on the edge of their installation range. They both wore overshoes (always a good sign!) and covered the working area with a clean dust sheet. They quietly got on with assembling and fitting the shutters.
Once complete they showed us how they operated and how to fit the spare slats if ever there was a need to.
If you are looking to get shutters (they do look smart!) I would thoroughly recommend Chichester Shutters.

From our initial telephone enquiry, to the last day of installation, the whole experience with Chichester Shutters has been stress free. They invited us to their show rooms in October 2020, to view their range and discuss our requirements. I am glad we did, as my husband was a little unsure about the idea of shutters but after seeing the quality of their product, he was convinced this was for us. We were given guidance and advice at the measuring stage, especially as we had large areas such as bi-folding doors. They kept us up to date with regard delivery, including a small delay due to covid restrictions. At the fitting stage, both fitters were courteous, respectful of our home and talked us through how the shutters would be fitted. From time from ordering to fitting was 3 months in total, but well worth the wait.

Shutters........where do I start. I had no idea about shutters or how they worked but during Covid I contacted Chichester Shutters and dealt with Sam. Sam prepared me a tailor made video and a survey through Danni was booked and then Mike surveyed each window. After the survey and once paid, it was off to get them built. Sam informed me that there were issues with the height and they wouldn’t look right. I was confused and didn’t know what to do. And I was worried. However, I decided to do one thing. Three words. JUST TRUST SAM. I left it in Sams hands and finally after 10 to 12 weeks both shutters arrived with split tilt for two downstairs rooms today and were installed. Luke installed them and made a great job of it. In fact the expanding foam seal is brilliant and cuts out the light and blends it in , and brilliant is also Luke’s magnetic wrist strap. I really like my shutters. They are professionally built and installed. I’m going to have Mike survey another room soon and ultra pleased with them. The service from Chichester Shutters has been fantastic, and we are delighted with the shutters, they have transformed the house. The installation was extremely professional, the team were very careful as they assembled the frames, and they worked very respectfully around us to keep a safe distance. After the shutters were installed, they cleaned up perfectly, and left clear instructions and a set of spares should we ever need them. The shutters themselves are fantastic, they feel solid to operate but not overly heavy. The installation approach means that they can be popped out easily when we need to clean the windows, there was no drilling at all, so the installation does not affect the window frame. There is a noticeable reduction in noise and improvement in keeping the rooms warm, and they look fantastic. Overall, 10/10.

We’ve just had two 9 feet wide x 5 feet high bay window shutters fitted by Luke and Mike. What a lovely job! Both myself and my wife are perfectionists and the installation and appearance are faultless.
We found Chichester Shutters from the internet via their other company Opennshut. I watched all their You Tube videos and when Sam, who ‘stars’ in the videos came to measure up, I was impressed. He took a full two hours on the survey, complete with laser levels. He also took us through the various options on finish, slat size etc. The price quoted, considering it’s for a bespoke product, was reasonable.
The fitters turned up on time, even though we live probably on the edge of their installation range. They both wore overshoes (always a good sign!) and covered the working area with a clean dust sheet. They quietly got on with assembling and fitting the shutters.
Once complete they showed us how they operated and how to fit the spare slats if ever there was a need to.
If you are looking to get shutters (they do look smart!) I would thoroughly recommend Chichester Shutters.

From our initial telephone enquiry, to the last day of installation, the whole experience with Chichester Shutters has been stress free. They invited us to their show rooms in October 2020, to view their range and discuss our requirements. I am glad we did, as my husband was a little unsure about the idea of shutters but after seeing the quality of their product, he was convinced this was for us. We were given guidance and advice at the measuring stage, especially as we had large areas such as bi-folding doors. They kept us up to date with regard delivery, including a small delay due to covid restrictions. At the fitting stage, both fitters were courteous, respectful of our home and talked us through how the shutters would be fitted. From time from ordering to fitting was 3 months in total, but well worth the wait.

Shutters........where do I start. I had no idea about shutters or how they worked but during Covid I contacted Chichester Shutters and dealt with Sam. Sam prepared me a tailor made video and a survey through Danni was booked and then Mike surveyed each window. After the survey and once paid, it was off to get them built. Sam informed me that there were issues with the height and they wouldn’t look right. I was confused and didn’t know what to do. And I was worried. However, I decided to do one thing. Three words. JUST TRUST SAM. I left it in Sams hands and finally after 10 to 12 weeks both shutters arrived with split tilt for two downstairs rooms today and were installed. Luke installed them and made a great job of it. In fact the expanding foam seal is brilliant and cuts out the light and blends it in , and brilliant is also Luke’s magnetic wrist strap. I really like my shutters. They are professionally built and installed. I’m going to have Mike survey another room soon and ultra pleased with them. Showroom Visit
We always advise that you visit us at our showroom to see all the samples firsthand and discuss any questions or specific requests you might have.
Estimate
Provide us with a rough width and height of your windows so we can put together an estimate. Or, you can calculate this online via our Online Estimate Form.
The exciting part – Fitting!
Once your shutters have arrived at our warehouse, we’ll be in touch to confirm your fitting date.
Our fitters will then arrive at your property and fit the shutters in usually no more than one working day.
And don’t worry about any mess, we’ll clear everything away and leave you to enjoy your new shutters!
Home Survey
We’ll arrange a date to visit your home and show you’re the large samples at your windows – so you can decide on any final design tweaks.
