Can I use curtains with shutters?

Shutters are designed to be used on their own, you don’t normally need both curtains and shutters.

If a curtain overhangs the recess, which they normally do, they can stop the shutters from opening.

Having both will make your window look busy, they will hide the window, and detract from the look of shutters

When you remove curtains from your room it will look bigger and you will get more light as most curtains end up covering part of the window even when they are slid open.

They hide the recess and stick out, so you lose the depth in your room.

Most customers don't have both, and if you're looking for a fresh modern look with plenty of light and the feeling of more space, then it’s best just to have shutters.
